Job Overview
We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of premises, personnel, and assets. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks.
- Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the site and detect suspicious behaviour.
- Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including administering first aid if necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
- Control access points by checking identification and issuing visitor passes as required.
- Collaborate with local authorities or emergency services during incidents or investigations.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions immediately.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or related fields is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV is desirable.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is beneficial.
- Certification in first aid or emergency response is preferred but not mandatory; training will be available for successful candidates.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail and proactive attitude towards safety are essential.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
