Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being at all times.
We welcome applicants with previous experience in domiciliary care, home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or support work. However, full training can be provided for the right candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for caring for others.
Driver Preferred: Having a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable due to the nature of domiciliary care. However, this is not an absolute requirement, and non-drivers are encouraged to apply where suitable local work is available.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised care and support tailored to each client’s individual needs.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment where required.
- Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding where necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote well-being.
- Support individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other health conditions.
- Assist with light household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns regarding a client’s health or welfare.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Caring, compassionate, and patient nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- We do not currently offer COS
