Role Overview
We’re a busy, family‑run community pharmacy looking for a confident, organised Accuracy Checking Technician (or experienced Level 3 Pharmacy Technician) to support our growing range of clinical services and digital patient queries.
You’ll play a key role in delivering contraception services, seasonal vaccines, and responding to website and online booking queries — alongside supporting safe, efficient dispensary workflow.
Main Responsibilities
- Clinical services support — assist with contraception consultations, seasonal vaccines, BP checks, and other NHS/private services
- Accuracy checking — complete final checks in line with GPhC standards
- Website & digital queries — manage online bookings, respond to patient messages, and support digital service uptake
- Dispensary workflow — support day‑to‑day operations, allocate tasks, maintain safe processes
- Customer support — provide friendly, clear healthcare advice at the counter
- Stock management — maintain stock levels and handle ordering/returns
Ideal Candidate
- Friendly, organised, and confident speaking with patients
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe practice
- Comfortable using digital systems and responding to online queries
- Holds Accuracy Checking Technician qualification, NVQ/QCF Level 3, and GPhC registration
- DBS required (support available)
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
