M.A.S.H (Military Assistance Social Hub) is an award-winning charity supporting veterans, serving personnel, reservists and their families across the East Riding of Yorkshire.
As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking to recruit two compassionate, motivated and reliable Armed Forces Community Outreach Coordinators.
Vacancies
- 1 x 10-hour per week position
- 1 x 15-hour per week position (Term Time Only)
Working from our Armed Forces Community Connection Point in Bridlington and outreach locations across East Yorkshire, you'll help members of the Armed Forces community access practical support, reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing.
No two days are the same. One day you may be supporting someone at one of our hubs, another you could be attending a community event, developing local partnerships or helping someone access specialist support.

Main Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with veterans, serving personnel, reservists and their families.
- Deliver outreach within local communities.
- Support individuals to access appropriate services.
- Work alongside partner organisations and agencies.
- Promote M.A.S.H within the community.
- Maintain accurate records and case notes.
- Support community events and wellbeing activities.
Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with people in a customer-facing, support, community or voluntary role.
- Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and IT skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- Experience within the charity or community sector.
- Understanding of the Armed Forces Community.
- Military service or lived experience within an Armed Forces family.
- Mental Health First Aid, First Aid or Safeguarding training.
- Experience delivering community engagement activities.
