Due to the continued growth of our services, we are looking for a dedicated and organised Care Administrator to join our busy office team in Slough.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in care administration, domiciliary care or a similar regulated environment and is looking to develop their career within the care sector.
The Role
As a Care Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to our care team, helping to ensure that our services are organised, compliant and delivered to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the care management and office team
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service user and staff records
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of care documentation
- Supporting the scheduling and coordination of care calls and staff rotas
- Communicating with service users, families, care workers and professionals
- Assisting with staff recruitment, onboarding and compliance checks
- Maintaining training and staff compliance records
- Assisting with audits, quality monitoring and CQC compliance
- Supporting the care team with referrals, new packages and service changes
- Monitoring emails, telephone enquiries and general office correspondence
- Assisting with timesheets, attendance records and payroll information
- Recording and following up incidents, complaints and other relevant documentation
- Ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately
- Carrying out general office administration and other duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in administration, ideally within healthcare, social care or domiciliary care
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced environment
- A confident communicator with excellent telephone and written communication skills
- Able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Professional, reliable and approachable
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Committed to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
- Flexible and willing to support the wider office team when required
Desirable
The following would be advantageous:
- Previous experience working for a CQC-regulated care provider
- Knowledge of domiciliary care operations
- Experience with care management or rostering software
- Understanding of CQC requirements and compliance
- Experience supporting recruitment and staff onboarding
- Previous experience dealing with local authorities, NHS/ICB or other care professionals
