Limepark Weddings and Events is looking for enthusiastic and passionate Part-Time Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team in a fast-paced wedding and events hospitality environment. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service in a busy hospitality environment.
As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
- Operating dishwashers and ensuring they are properly maintained
- Cleaning food preparation areas, surfaces, and floors
- Emptying bins and ensuring correct waste disposal (including recycling)
- Deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (ovens, fridges, storage areas, etc.)
- Ensuring all hygiene standards comply with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation as needed, following food safety guidelines.
- Arrive on time, dressed in a clean and professional uniform, maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
Skills & Requirements
- A strong understanding of hospitality principles and guest service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to stay organized and efficient in a busy event setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues as part of a team.
