- What you'll be doing:
- Leading and motivating the farm shop team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the shop, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout.
- Maintaining attractive, well-stocked, and beautifully presented displays.
- Driving sales through excellent product knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Managing stock levels, merchandising, and reducing waste.
- Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and health and safety standards are consistently met.
- Taking a proactive approach to solving problems and supporting the wider business when needed.
- The successful candidate will be working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends. Weekend working is shared fairly amongst the team.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for quality food and local produce.
- Delivers outstanding customer service and enjoys building relationships with customers.
- Has previous retail experience, ideally in a food retail environment.
- Is commercially aware and understands how to maximise sales while maintaining excellent standards.
- Has exceptional attention to detail.
- Is proactive, organised, and able to use their initiative.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure.
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
This role involves supporting with opening and closing the site on a rota basis with other Team Leads.
We are based just outside the market town of Ledbury in rural Herefordshire, on the main Ledbury to Hereford road, near Trumpet.
