About the Role
We’re recruiting Family Assessment Support Workers for our centre in Cambridge (CB4), supporting parents and children who require structured assessment, guidance, and emotionally attuned support.
You’ll be part of a warm, committed team providing consistent, family‑centred care — helping parents develop safe routines, strengthen their parenting capacity, and work towards positive outcomes in a nurturing, structured environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Supporting families with daily routines, parenting tasks, and life skills
✔ Providing emotional and practical support to parents
✔ Observing, recording, and contributing to parenting assessments
✔ Encouraging positive interactions and safe care practices
✔ Supporting community activities and appointments
✔ Maintaining accurate records and safeguarding standards
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience supporting children, families, or individuals with complex needs
✔ Calm, patient, and resilient approach
✔ Driver with access to your own vehicle (essential)
✔ Commitment to safeguarding and professional practice
✔ Willingness to complete the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Residential Child and Family Support (fully funded after 3‑month probation)
