We are looking for an experienced part-time (25 hours) Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our friendly, patient-focused team.
This position is a permanent one and working hours will be over 5 weekdays, shift patterns to be confirmed.
Essential criteria
Communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent use of IT. Ability to deal confidently and courteously with people both in person and over the telephone. Ability to work flexibly as a team member. Able to work on own initiative and prioritise workload. Empathetic, honest & caring. Able to work under pressure.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be:
·Proficient in the use of SystmOne with a minimum of 1 years experience using the system. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
Organised, efficient and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and effective communication within our multi-professional Primary Care Team.
· You will need to have the capability to prioritise your own workload, be confident and adaptable to both change and to challenging situations in a busy environment.
· You will also be able to demonstrate co-operative and productive working with people of all backgrounds and second language would be desirable for this role.
· You will need to computer literate, experienced in the use of electronic communications and be confident during face to face interactions with patients.
· This post requires an ability to show attention to detail even under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and the need to be able to deliver accurate and clear information to appropriate parties, in a timely manner.
