Ecovolt Innovations Ltd is looking for reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our team working on commercial Solar PV projects across the region.
Previous Solar PV experience is NOT essential. Training in renewables and Solar PV installation can be provided for the right person, so please don’t let a lack of solar experience put you off applying.
The Role
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role. You will be working alongside our experienced Solar PV installation team and duties will include:
- Lifting, carrying and positioning solar panels
- Assisting with the installation of solar panels
- Moving panels, mounting equipment and materials around site
- Assisting experienced solar installers
- Preparing and organising materials
- General site labouring duties
- Keeping working areas safe, clean and organised
Applicants need to be physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and manual work throughout the day.
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Relevant construction/site experience
- Own basic hand tools
- Physically fit and capable of demanding manual work
- Reliable and punctual
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Own transport/reliable means of getting to site
- Right to work in the UK
Opportunity to Train in Renewables
You do not need previous solar experience. We are happy to train the right people who already have a good construction background, a strong work ethic and want to develop their skills within the renewable energy industry.
There is potential for regular ongoing work across our commercial Solar PV projects for the right people.
