We are expanding and are proud to be launching as an official installer and distributor of the innovative CARDIP® Peelable Paint System, a premium German-engineered coating technology that combines the benefits of paint and paint protection film in one advanced solution.
As our business grows, we are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical side of the operation and help establish the UK's leading centre for peelable paint technology.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the technical development of our installation and distribution business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading all technical aspects of the CARDIP product range.
- Developing and maintaining installation standards and quality control procedures.
- Training and mentoring installers, bodyshops and trade customers.
- Providing technical support to distributors, installers and end users.
- Demonstrating products and application techniques to customers.
- Working closely with the sales team to support business development.
- Managing technical warranty and product performance enquiries.
- Liaising with the manufacturer on new products, technical updates and certifications.
- Assisting with new installer onboarding and dealer network development.
- Supporting exhibitions, trade events and product demonstrations throughout the UK.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience in automotive refinishing, bodyshop operations or vehicle coatings.
- Strong technical understanding of paint systems, spray equipment and application techniques.
- Experience managing or training technical teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel nationally when required.
