Start Date: Flexible
Working Model: Hybrid, predominantly in London (we're HQ'd in Bristol, but on-site requirements for this role will be mostly in London in the offices our technology partners & clients, or at Data or Snap-hosted events)
Salary: £35k-£42k/annum (£52k-£62k OTE)
Why this role exists…
The UK enterprise data transformation market is creating a significant opportunity right now. As thousands of organisations are facing forced S/4HANA migrations due to the end of SAP ECC maintenance, they are also facing data estate problems that need solving. SAP isn’t enough. Organisations need to modernise their analytics, move to cloud-native platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, and think about data differently. This creates growing demand for exactly what Snap delivers: specialist Data & Analytics transformation across SAP, Snowflake and Databricks.
We’re a specialist Data & Analytics consultancy of 177 people with established partnerships across SAP, Snowflake and Databricks, a strong reputation for delivery and a pipeline of £16M+ in opportunities built largely through partner referrals, events and direct relationships. Clients continue to work with us and recommend us because we deliver on our commitments and build long-term trusted relationships.
This is one of our first BDR hires. You'll work alongside three experienced AEs and a Marketing team, prospecting into enterprise accounts where the urgency is real and the deal sizes are material (£500k–£1M+). You won’t be dialling 100 numbers a day. You'll be researching deeply, writing precisely, attending events and booking meetings that actually convert.
Your variable will be paid on Sales-Qualified Opportunities accepted by our AEs, not raw meetings booked. Quality is what gets rewarded here.
Pipeline generation across three practices:
You’ll generate 8 Sales-Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) per month across SAP (~50%), Snowflake (~25%) and Databricks (~25%). This will be reviewed monthly and adjusted as the business evolves.
-
You’ll research and prospect into enterprise accounts from the 80-account ABM target list, supplemented by self-sourced ICP-fit accounts showing live buying signals like a new CDO hire, S/4HANA RFP, Snowflake/Databricks evaluation, data transformation budget release, etc.
-
You’ll run personalised, multi-channel outbound sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone) tailored to each persona (CDO, Head of Data, VP Analytics, SAP Programme Director, CFO, etc.), using our sales engagement platform.
-
- You’ll attend Snap and partner events (Snowflake, SAP, Databricks events; Snap-hosted dinners and breakfasts) as a pipeline source alongside digital outbound. In-person presence at events is part of this role, not an optional extra.
Meeting quality and AE alignment:
You’ll deliver a pre-meeting brief for every booked discovery call including account context, persona research, identified pain, suggested conversation angle, etc.
-
You’ll follow up on marketing-sourced inbound (MQLs) within 24 hours for Tier 1/2 ABM accounts and 72 hours for all others, qualifying against MEDDPICC criteria before passing onto one of our AEs.
-
- You’ll work closely with each AE on their practice-specific messaging and live pipeline so your outbound is coordinated, not parallel.
Pipeline and partner hygiene:
You’ll maintain full Salesforce hygiene on every prospected account and contact including activity, stage progression and outcome notes updated daily.
-
You’ll leverage partner-sourced lead flow (Snowflake, Databricks, SAP partner teams) as an additional source, coordinating closely with AEs on partner-referred opportunities.
-
You’ll attend the daily BDR stand-up (15 min) and weekly Sales & Marketing alignment meeting, reporting on SQO conversions, blockers and top-account activity.
-
- You’ll feed market signals back to the Marketing team like messaging resonance, account engagement, persona-level response patterns, etc.
Success would look like:
By 30 days: you know our ICP well, you've booked your first qualified discovery meetings, and your AEs trust the briefs you send them.
By 90 days: you're running at or above the 8-SQO target, your sequences are converting at or above benchmark and you're active in the events pipeline.
By 18–24 months: you're ready to carry a new business number as an Account Executive.
We're looking for an ambitious, early-career sales professional with 1–3 years in a BDR, SDR or inside sales role, ideally in enterprise technology, data, cloud or consulting services.
The right person for us will research before they reach out, write outbound that doesn't sound like a template and build pipeline consistently without needing to be chased.
You should have:
Multi-channel outbound experience (email, LinkedIn, phone) and a working knowledge of a sales engagement platform like Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo or similar.
-
CRM discipline: Salesforce experience is a must.
-
Enough familiarity with the cloud data ecosystem (Snowflake, Databricks, SAP, modern data stack) to have a credible conversation. We will train and support you on the technical depth. What we can't train is research instinct, written communication quality and the consistency to prospect without supervision.
-
- Comfort operating across three different technology propositions simultaneously and adapting your messaging accordingly.
Advantageous (not blockers):
Experience prospecting CDO, Head of Data or VP Analytics personas.
-
Any exposure to the SAP ecosystem or SAP SI landscape.
-
- Experience with intent data platforms (6sense or similar).
Role Specific:
Compensation: £35,000–£42,000 base, £52,000–£62,000 OTE at 100% quota. Variable paid on SQOs accepted by the AE (quality rewarded, not volume).
Split: 70/30 (base/variable)
Progression: A clear pathway to Account Executive within 18–24 months for high performers. At Snap, we promote from within.
Team: Three experienced enterprise AEs, a Marketing team, and access to SAP, Snowflake and Databricks partner ecosystems.
