Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options
- Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Manage cash register operations and process payments efficiently
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and promote specials or events
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Adhere to licensing laws regarding the sale of alcohol and responsible serving practices
- Assist in setting up for events or private functions when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills
- Understanding of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- A genuine interest in serving others and creating positive guest experiences
