Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, servicing and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning units.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to support system assembly and troubleshooting.
- Support senior technicians with equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal operation.
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks to uphold system efficiency and safety standards.
- Learn to diagnose faults using specialised tools and equipment, contributing to effective problem-solving.
- Aid in the construction and assembly of HVAC systems, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience related to construction or equipment repair is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interest in refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
