The Role:
Alabaré are looking to recruit a Support Worker, you are responsible for delivering high quality, trauma informed, strengths based support to residents within supported accommodation. The role focuses on helping individuals develop daily living skills, maintain safety and wellbeing, and move towards independence. You will be responsible for day-to-day support delivery, ensuring accurate records, responding to incidents, promoting safety and wellbeing, contributing to risk assessments and following safeguarding procedures.
Working 18.5 hours per week Wednesday to Friday with flexibility to cover outside these days and hours if required to meet the needs of the service.
Car driver required with access to a road worthy vehicle and business insurance.

- Experience and understanding of Supported Housding, care or multiple-needs services.
- An understanding of when and where to signpost is essential.
- Experience of supporting rent processes, benefits or tenancy-related tasks.
- Demonstrate resilience, compassion and professional integrity.
- Hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a road worthy vehicle and business insurance.
Alabaré are committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of all our service users, this includes developing, implementing and maintaining effective recruitment policies and procedures to promote the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Before commencing employment, the HR Department undertakes pre-employment checks on all applicants who have been offered a job with the Charity. These checks include an Enhanced DBS, which will be renewed every 3 years, the right to live and work in the UK, as well as two satisfactory references.
All staff will be required to complete training on Safeguarding Adults and Young People within their first week of employment.
