About
T. H. Horn Ltd is a long‑established agricultural engineering business providing sales, service, repairs and accessories for a wide range of tractors and agricultural machinery. We support customers across Lancashire, South Lakes and North Yorkshire, with nationwide machinery sales.
As main dealers for Kubota tractors, and authorised dealers for leading brands including McHale, Krone, Kverneland, Bomford, Fleming and more.
Hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule: 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Location: Office‑based, Garstang
Key Responsibilities
- Support accurate financial reporting
- Quarterly management accounts preparation
- VAT returns and submission
- Corporation tax computations and returns
- Calculation of prepayments and accruals
- Stock management and monitoring
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the year‑end process
- Providing guidance to junior staff
- Producing ad‑hoc financial reports as required
Experience & Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified or part‑qualified
- Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software, ideally Sage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and wider Office suite
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
Pay: Up to £38,000.00 per year
