Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to oversee morning operations within our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of breakfast dishes, ensuring quality and consistency in food production.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food safety compliance, cleanliness, and organisation.
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff and servers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient service.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to plan menus, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of breakfast offerings.
- Monitor service standards, address guest concerns promptly, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Maintain health and safety regulations in accordance with industry standards and hotel policies.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts to optimise coverage during breakfast hours.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hotel environment.
- Supervising experience with strong team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering teamwork.
- Hospitality experience with excellent customer service skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and kitchen management.
- Previous experience as a barista or in hospitality roles such as hotel or restaurant staff is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
