The Marketing & Brand Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of marketing and brand activities that enhance brand awareness, engage customers, and support business growth. The role coordinates integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email marketing, website content, PR, events, and product launches.
The role supports brand development, creates engaging marketing content, manages customer data and marketing systems, and uses market insights to improve campaign performance. It also contributes to website optimisation, customer engagement initiatives, and the adoption of new technologies, including AI, to improve marketing effectiveness.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Marketing & Brand Co-ordinator ensures consistent brand messaging, supports commercial objectives, and helps deliver high-quality marketing activity across the business.
Key deliverables:
- Champion Friars Pride’s own label brands, progressing marketing plans and PR activities following instructions from the Marketing Manager.
- Assist with brand management of Friars Pride’s own brand portfolio, creating opportunities for growth, development, and innovation within the brands.
- Take ownership of Friars Pride’s social media and email marketing to proactively promote the company, the brands and important messages to customers, plus reporting of these platforms.
- Maximise opportunities for publicity and PR about Friars Pride and our service, innovation, and sustainability.
- Increase awareness and leads from corporate sponsorship and strategic partners (KFE Fish & Chips Training School, National Fish & Chip Day, National Fish and Chip Awards, National Chip Week).
- Promoting our own label brands and innovation within the FRY I.T. tradeshow and digital FRY I.T.
- To assist in launching and communicating new own label products and innovation for future growth and increased profitability.
- Create creative brand links, using National Days of the Year and other opportunities.
- Communicate Save & Select loyalty scheme to increase customer redemptions throughout the year, and to increase awareness of the brand.
- Become the Friars Pride brand trainer and train our sales team to give them the knowledge required.
- Utilising AI to assist in creation of brand content for digital and traditional communications.
- Management of company databases, including working with customer data for website, mailing and digital marketing requirements, including data cleansing and upkeep as required.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Graduate calibre ideally with a degree in marketing or CIM qualifications.
- Experienced marketing B2B products and working with brands.
- Skills in traditional marketing communications as well as a firm grasp on the digital e-commerce: social media and digital promotional campaigns, website content.
- Creativity and lateral thinking to produce new ideas for marketing own label brands and pursue the next product innovation or marketing concept to give our business a point of difference.
- Ability to write copy for newsletters, product brochures, digital and website content, publicity material and press releases.
- Presentation and sales skills to ‘engage’ and sell marketing concepts to our sales team, our suppliers, and other marketing managers within the Q Partnership.
