Job Title: Children’s Home Registered Manager
Location: Newmarket
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, plus:
£10,000 Welcome Bonus (paid on successful registration)
Up to £10,000 Annual Quality & Commercial Bonus

Service: Children’s Residential Home
Service Users: Children and young people aged 12–18 with mental illness and significant risks of self-injurious behaviours requiring specialist support
Qualifications Required:
Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (Essential)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (Preferred)
If not already qualified, must enrol onto Level 5 within 6 months of starting
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
At least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
Eligible to register with Ofsted
The Home:
Our client is recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a specialist two-bedded children’s home supporting young people with complex mental health needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including an on-site school, clinical professionals and teachers, you will help young people achieve positive outcomes and successfully transition through their care journey.

Allocate and support Key Workers.
Maintain outstanding standards of care in line with the Children's Homes Quality Standards and Statement of Purpose.
Manage safeguarding concerns and complaints effectively.
Work collaboratively with families, carers and professionals.
Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings.
Promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.
Manage the home effectively against budget expectations.
