LATE SHIFT SUPERVISOR (2-10 shift)
The role is to supervise late shift staff with the job description below, and also perform the duties as described.
The supervisor will be responsible for health and safety, disciplinary processes, and carrying out the work each shift as provided in writing and from the Site Manager or his nominated representative for that day. Also responsible for the correct paperwork relating to inbound and outbound loads.
Essential FLT and supervisory experience
Desired but not essential : experience in waste and /or chemical processing.
Supervision of staff working to this job description.
There are quarterly and other discretionary bonuses offered on a profit related basis.
YARD STAFF JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for a Yard Operative for the day shift, preferably with Chemical/Waste industry experience, to work on a full-time basis in our yard at Trafford Park - located next to the new Trafford Park Metro link tram stop (Village).
The role will include physical tasks such as washing, drying, cutting, shredding, processing of various plastic and steel containers and general yard organisation. This role involves repetitive tasks, machinery, and outside work.
The role will be on the late shift, between 14.00 and 22.00 Monday to Friday and will be located outside and in open warehouses.
Good concentration and attention to detail is essential to upkeep our high standard of quality to our customers. The ability to lift up to 17kg and working outside and in open warehouses all year round is a necessity.
Forklift truck (counterbalance) licence is essential. ( We are happy to pay for refresher on presentation of an out of date but compliant certificate )
Full training and PPE will be given to the successful applicant.
