Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Bar Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the bar, it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Staff Management: train, and schedule bar staff, including bartenders and bar backs. Monitor their performance and provide feedback.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure that the bar is well stocked with beverages and other necessary items.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and local alcohol laws and health regulations, maintaining a safe and clean environment for both staff and customers.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor cash flow, manage daily sales reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, particularly in bar or restaurant settings. At least 1 year
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment
- The role typically involves working in a fast-paced restaurant and bar setting, with shifts that will include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Supervisors must be able to handle high-pressure situations and maintain a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.
