The opportunity
This is a new-business partnership sales role for someone who enjoys opening doors, developing persuasive propositions and turning promising conversations into commercially valuable partnerships.
You will identify and secure affiliates, publishers, consumer brands, membership and rewards businesses, agencies and other distribution partners capable of introducing Hatchster’s services to relevant audiences at meaningful scale. You will own opportunities from prospecting and first contact through proposal, pitch, negotiation, agreement and launch.
Partnerships could include affiliate placements, brand collaborations, member-benefit and rewards programmes, embedded or post-purchase customer journeys and, selectively, creator or influencer channels.
About Hatchster
Hatchster is a growing, entrepreneurial and digital-first business with an established operating history. We develop and operate several consumer-facing online services and grow them through direct marketing, product development and third-party distribution partnerships.
You will initially focus on the service and partnership proposition best matched to your experience, commercial strengths and the business’s current priorities, while identifying relevant opportunities across the wider portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Build and manage a qualified outbound pipeline across affiliates, publishers, consumer brands and other relevant partners.
- Research and prioritise prospects by audience scale, distribution capability, brand values, commercial potential and fit with Hatchster.
- Approach decision-makers by telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking and other appropriate channels.
- Develop tailored propositions, proposals and presentations that create clear value for the partner, its audience and Hatchster.
- Lead pitches, handle objections, negotiate viable commercial terms and progress opportunities through to agreement and launch.
- Support early partner performance, resolve launch issues and identify opportunities to expand successful relationships.
- Use CRM, conversion, acquisition-cost and partner-performance data to report accurately and focus effort on commercially viable opportunities.
What we’re looking for
- Typically two to four years’ relevant experience in business development, partnership sales, affiliate marketing, digital media sales or a closely related commercial role.
- Evidence that you have personally generated outbound pipeline, opened cold conversations and progressed prospects towards commercial agreement.
- The judgement to assess consumer audiences, distribution channels, brand alignment and the realistic commercial value of a partnership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including persuasive proposals, professional telephone prospecting, pitching, objection handling and negotiation.
- Commercial numeracy and confidence with performance-based models and measures such as CPA, CPL, revenue share, conversion rate and ROI.
- Working knowledge of affiliate platforms, tracking, attribution, CRM systems and performance reporting.
- An organised, proactive and self-motivated approach suited to a fully remote role, plus the right to work in the UK.
Useful, but not essential
Experience of creator, influencer, rewards, subscription, membership or consumer-brand partnerships.
What’s in it for you
- £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Performance-related commission; the structure and expected OTE will be confirmed before appointment.
- A 100% remote, UK-based full-time role, working 9.30am–6.00pm Monday to Friday.
- 20 days’ annual leave plus UK bank holidays.
- The opportunity to shape Hatchster’s affiliate, publisher and consumer-brand partnership activity across a portfolio of consumer online services.
If you have the commercial drive to originate, close and launch partnerships that deliver measurable growth, we would like to hear from you.
