Type of Work: Residential Reactive Maintenance
RATE: £180 A Day AFTER TAX - Paid WEEKLY!
LSR Services Group is looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive Multi-Trader to join our team on a full-time basis carrying out residential reactive maintenance works across London.
The role involves attending occupied residential properties to deal with day-to-day repairs, maintenance issues, assessments and small remedial works.
Working Hours
Your working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
You are expected to be at your first allocated job and ready to start work at 8:00 a.m. sharp, regardless of where the first job is located within London.
You are responsible for planning your journey and leaving early enough to arrive on time.
Typical Works
The role will include residential reactive maintenance such as:
- plumbing repairs
- Minor electrical repairs
- Bathroom repairs
- Kitchen repairs
- Carpentry
- Tiling
- Flooring
- Fixtures and fittings
- General handyman repairs
- Minor property defects
- Fault finding
- Property assessments
- Small remedial works
You should be comfortable attending different properties throughout London during the working day and dealing professionally with residents, tenants, managing agents and the office team.
Essential Requirements
You must:
- Have your own van
- Have your own basic trade tools
- Have good multi-trade property maintenance experience
- Be comfortable travelling throughout London
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be physically fit and able to manage a busy working day
- Be proactive and capable of solving straightforward problems independently
- Communicate professionally with residents and the office
- Be comfortable using a smartphone and work applications
Digital Reporting
You will be provided with a company work phone and will be required to use our job-management system throughout the working day.
You must be able to:
- Receive jobs through the application
- Read job instructions
- Upload photographs and videos
- Complete job reports
- Record works carried out
- Record findings and recommendations
- Complete assessment information
- Upload measurements where required
- Keep the office updated on job progress
- Report additional works or materials required
Training will be provided on our specific systems, but you must already be comfortable using smartphones and applications.
Proactive Working
We need someone who thinks ahead and does not need to be guided through every small decision.
For example, if you require a part from Screwfix or another supplier, you should be able to check the closest suitable branch, confirm availability and communicate with the office rather than automatically driving to a branch you happen to know.
