HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C
As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the CWA Wide Section.
What will you do?
In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted Senior HR Advisor supporting the HR Business Partner with, driving organisational effectiveness and enabling performance across the programme. You will support the HR BP with the people strategy and long-term goals, specifically supporting the head office and support functions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a once-in-a-generation project while developing your HR expertise.
- Partner with HRBP to provide HR guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management.
- Support organisational growth by designing scalable team structures, clarifying roles, and embedding career pathways that align with programme delivery.
- Support the annual resource planning process, maintaining a rolling three-year workforce plan that adapts to evolving project priorities.
- Oversee the delivery of core HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, HRIS updates, and compliance requirements.
- Support the development and execution of the people strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Collaborate with functions to support talent acquisition plans and succession planning, addressing current and future capability needs.
- Ensure high-quality, efficient HR service.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR professional who thrives in complex, high-pressure environments. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative partner, adept at navigating the unique challenges of a major infrastructure project while driving people-focused solutions.
- A proven ability to build collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate complex projects.
- Experience in HR operations.
- Proficiency in digital HR tools and platforms, including Office 365 and HR information systems.

Desirable:
- Chartered or equivalent HR qualification (CIPD Level 5 or above) or substantial equivalent experience.
- Experience within major projects or programmes, particularly in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Exposure to the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors, with an understanding of workforce and compliance requirements.
