We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workshop Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Summary of Duties
- Assist in the assembly of doors/ frames
- Assist in edgebanding & press of doors as required*
- Mitre, assemble & fit glazing beads
- Fitting doors stops
- Assist other employees as/when requested
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assemble according to specifications
- Assist in the assembly of joinery items if required
- Sanding & preparing joinery items prior to spraying
- Assist in operating woodworking machines as required*
- Ensuring all finished jobs are to a high standard of quality
- Packaging goods for dispatch
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered during operations
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly problems and improve processes
- *Training will be provided prior to use of any machinery
Experience
- Practical experience within a joinery workshop preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work efficiently in a team setting

Pay: £12.71-£13.69 per hour
