Housekeeper & Family assistant
We’re looking for a capable and exceptionally organised Housekeeper, Cleaner & Family Assistant to help keep on top of everyday family life. We would love someone who genuinely enjoys organisation, notices what needs doing, creates simple systems and takes pride in helping a busy home run smoothly.
Hours
- 20–30 hours per week, with flexibility for the right person
- Mainly daytime hours working 5 days out of 7
What we need help with
- Keeping on top of day-to-day tidying and household organisation
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces
- Laundry: washing, ironing, folding and putting clothes away, changing beds
- Organising cupboards, drawers, wardrobes, fridge, freezer and household supplies
- Decluttering and helping clear out rooms and spaces when needed
- Household shopping, plus occasional errands such as post office returns
- Patio tidying and watering plants
- Helping us stay ahead of the family’s busy routine
There is no childcare required, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable and happy in a busy family environment.
The right candidate needs to:
- Take pride in high standards and enjoy keeping a home looking and feeling good
- Be reliable, discreet and kind
- Have previous housekeeping, family-assistant or private-home experience
- Drive and have access to a car for local errands
References will be requested.
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
