Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Private Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students across various age groups and learning needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with children or individuals requiring special education support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' academic journeys by tailoring lessons to meet their unique requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customised tutoring sessions in specific subjects, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Assess students’ current knowledge levels and set achievable learning goals
- Develop engaging lesson plans that promote understanding and confidence
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential
- Maintain organised records of sessions, progress, and areas for improvement
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure clarity of objectives and expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or individuals with special educational needs
- For this particular student they will only work with a Female tutor
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining concepts clearly and patiently
- Knowledge of specialised educational techniques for working with children or those requiring additional support
- Passion for education and helping others succeed
- Organised, reliable, and able to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student requirements
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or specialised fields are desirable but not essential
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
