Registered Veterinary Nurse - Hartford
Our client, an RCVS-accredited Veterinary Hospital in Hartford, is seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced and supportive team. This is an ideal opportunity for an RVN who enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves being fully involved in patient care, and wants exposure to a diverse caseload that will continually expand their clinical experience and nursing skills.
The successful candidate will join a large team of experienced vets, nurses, and receptionists in a busy hospital environment. The practice offers fantastic facilities including an ultrasound scanner, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory, CT scanner, and laparoscopy equipment.
The Role
This is a varied general nursing role covering patient preparation, theatre work, and in-patient care on a rota, with plenty of opportunities to be involved in interesting medical and surgical cases. The role is offered on a permanent or 12-month fixed-term contract, to suit your circumstances.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
- Working hours between 7:00am and 8:30pm
- 1 in 4 weekends with 2 days TOIL the following week
- 2 Bank Holidays per year
- Occasional requirement to cover twilight and late kennel shifts
