Qualification: Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential

We are recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming Montessori nursery in the Leatherhead area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years professional who enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences and wants to work in an environment where children are encouraged to become confident, independent learners.
You’ll be joining a supportive team where the Montessori approach is at the heart of the children's day, with plenty of opportunity to build strong relationships with children and help them develop at their own pace.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing high-quality care, support and learning experiences for children
- Supporting the Montessori approach through child-led learning and exploration
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that encourage curiosity and independence
- Observing children's development and maintaining accurate learning records
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
- Ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment at all times
- Working as part of a team to deliver consistently high standards of care and education
- Following safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Good understanding of children's development and the EYFS
- Warm, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to develop professionally
- Montessori experience is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate
