Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Weekend Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent service to customers in a lively bar environment, ensuring they enjoy a memorable experience. Weekend late night availability is a must.
Duties
- Serve drinks and refreshments to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Assist in setting up and packing down the bar before and after service
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote special offers or events
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
