Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant/Activities Co-ordinator to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and engaging activities within a care home environment or through home care services. The successful candidate will play a vital part in enhancing residents' wellbeing, fostering social interaction, and supporting individual care plans. A friendly demeanour, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect
- Organise and facilitate engaging activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, promoting social inclusion and mental stimulation
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and activity participation in accordance with organisational policies
- Assist with organising outings or community events to enrich residents’ experiences
