We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at Kings Norton Hospital in Birmingham.
King’s Norton Hospital in Birmingham supports adults of all genders with severe and complex mental health conditions. In this state-of-the-art hospital we provide high quality intensive treatment in a clinically safe, caring and secure environment.
What you'll be working:
- 37.63 hours a week.
- Day & night shifts.
- Includes working weekends & bank holidays
- £27,195.28 per annum pro rata
What you'll be doing:
- A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible.
- Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way
- Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
- Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
- Assist patients with mealtimes where necessary
- Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
- Communication any issues to the clinical team
- Accurately report and/or record work activities
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential
