JDI Legal are currently working with an established high street firm who operate across two branch offices here in the North East and specifically Northumberland area.
My clients have a great reputation and very much a respected firm who serve clients mostly in the North Tyneside and Northumberland area. They have been in operation for some 50+ years they are looking to recruit an additional private client solicitor due to succession planning.

The partners are open to a range of qualification as there are other fee earners in the team, so whether you are a bright junior solicitor considering your options or a more experienced specialist with STEP, they are willing to consider.
There is an existing caseload to inherit from a partner involving a range of work, value and complexity including Wills, Estate Administration , Trusts, Probate, LPA's etc.
The branch office is based in a beautiful market town and has an excellent repeat client base and Will Bank.
Applications are encouraged from Solicitors or Legal Executives who have a proven track record in wills and probate work and can demonstrate the following skills :
Duties:
- Manage and oversee private client matters related to wills, trusts, probate, LPA's, estate planning, etc.
- Handle an existing caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and the department head to ensure seamless operations.
- Have good time management skills
- Committed to delivering a high rate of client care
Skills:
- MUST be a qualified solicitor or CILEX and have proven experience in managing private client matters of at least 1 year+.
Whilst the role would ideally be full time, 4 days would also be considered for the right individual.

Pay: £33,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
