About the Role
We are the official Southwest Logistics Partner of Lime in London.
As a van driver, your core responsibility will be to support Lime’s city operations by swapping the dead batteries with the full ones that you will collect from our warehouse in Battersea with a small e-van. The aim is to finish 70 Battery Swaps 5 days in a week, 44 Battery Swaps 1 day in a week.
Key Details
· Working Days: 6 days in a week between Monday to Sunday (Working days may change week by week)
· £100 - £150 daily earning. In Summer-Autumn season, it is possible to earn £200 in a daily basis.
· Van rental fee is £140 per week (exc. insurance, road tax)
· Aim: Finishing minimum 70 battery swaps in a day
· Shift start times are variable.
· Driver will get weekly payment
· The vehicle is fully insured and will protect you during the work hours.
· Location: Southwest London
· Contract Type: Full-time
· Weekly Pay. Fridays are the payment days
· Vehicle charge expenses will be paid and covered by our company
Requirements:
***DBS Check is Required
· Valid full UK driving licence (more than 5 years is preffered)
· May require working on Bank Holidays
· Minimum 2 years of van driving experience
· No penalty points on licence
· Must provide a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
· Ages 25–45 preferred (Note: Age range used only for operational suitability; applications outside this range will still be considered fairly.)
· Proven van driving experience in London.
· Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns in Southwest /Central London
· Physically fit and capable of handling to moderate lifting
· Strong communication skills and punctuality
· Highly punctual & Disciplined
· Ability to use GPS and mobile app tools to follow optimized routes and schedule
· Wear a high-vis jacket while on duty
