Stretch Tent Installer / Event Structures Crew
Intent Productions — Reigate, Surrey
About Intent Productions
Intent Productions specialise in the sale, hire and installation of stretch tents and event structures across the UK. Our clients include major festivals, live event producers, hospitality venues and private clients. We design, supply and install bespoke structures year-round.
Stretch tents are at the core of what we do, alongside steel post installations, groundwork and carpentry as part of bespoke structural builds. No two projects are the same — from rooftop installs in central London to large venue structures in open fields.

We’re looking for practical, reliable people who want regular site work in a specialist hands-on trade.
The Role
We are expanding our installation crew and looking for team members to support stretch tent and structural installations across the UK.
Most work centres around stretch tent installation and removal, with additional responsibilities including steel post installations, groundwork, carpentry support, equipment prep and warehouse duties.
Typical duties include:
- Stretch tent installation and de-rigging
- Equipment preparation, loading and maintenance
- Working as part of a professional installation crew
- Warehouse organisation and job prep
- Basic carpentry and structural assembly
- Steel post installations and groundwork
Stretch tent rigging is technical and physically demanding. Good judgement, teamwork and attention to detail are essential.
Hours & Workload
This is a full time role.
Crew members who want to work regularly will typically see workloads around 160 hours per month, depending on schedules and weather..
Start times are often early — typically 6–7am, and occasionally earlier — and site days can be long depending on the installation or project.
Contract Options
While most crew members work with us on an ongoing basis throughout the main season, we understand that some applicants may be looking for shorter-term commitments.
We’re open to discussing:
- Seasonal agreements for those seeking spring or summer work
- Casual opportunities for experienced self-employed crew
All arrangements require the same standards of reliability, professionalism and teamwork. Regardless of contract type, crew members are expected to integrate fully with site operations and uphold company standards.
Development & Progression
This is a practical trade role with room to grow. You’ll develop rigging skills, site awareness and structural knowledge while working on increasingly complex projects.
We invest in people who integrate well with the team and want to build long-term capability.
Reliability & Professional Standards
Reliability is non-negotiable in this role.
We work to tight install schedules, often with large crews and client deadlines. Turning up on time, prepared and ready to work is essential. This is a team environment where everyone relies on each other.

Useful experience includes:
