Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and engaging with patrons in a friendly and efficient manner. Previous bar experience is preferred, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance alcohol licensing regulations at all times
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately using cash or card systems
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere while promoting specials or upcoming events
- Monitor guest behaviour responsibly to uphold safety standards and prevent over-serving
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles within restaurants or bars
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- A friendly personality with a proactive approach to customer service
Cocktail making/mixology experience is a bonus but training can be given.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
