Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. Duties
- Install, test, and commission electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of existing electrical installations
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools efficiently
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role with a solid understanding of electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills and saws
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
