Mechanical Maintenance Technician - East Belfast - Days
Salary: Dependent on experience
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a mobile crew covering water and wastewater sites across eastern Northern Ireland, with occasional work at the Belfast workshop. Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
· Complete planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across multiple sites.
· Repair and overhaul pumps, gearboxes and screening equipment.
· Replace bearings, seals, belts and components.
· Fault-find and identify root causes.
- Fabrication and MIG welding.
· Use engineering and lifting equipment safely.
· Complete job reports on a PDA/tablet.
· Work at height and in confined spaces as needed.
Essential Criteria
- Time-served Mechanical Fitter/Technician.
- Minimum 5 years' post-apprenticeship industrial maintenance experience.
- Full driving licence.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
