North Cheshire Community Rail Partnership is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Project Co-ordinator and Partnership Administrator to support the delivery of community rail projects across North Cheshire, Halton and Warrington.
This flexible, part-time role offers the opportunity to work with local communities, volunteers, railway partners, local authorities and businesses to deliver projects that strengthen communities, encourage sustainable travel and help people get more from their local railways.
Working closely with the Directors, Community Rail Development Officer and volunteers, you will play an important role in coordinating projects, supporting partnership working and helping the organisation grow.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate community rail projects from planning through to delivery.
- Support volunteers and community groups involved in Partnership activities.
- Organise meetings, events and community engagement activities.
- Liaise with partners across the railway industry, local authorities, businesses and voluntary organisations.
- Prepare reports, maintain project records and monitor project progress.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the Partnership.
- Assist with communications, stakeholder engagement and promotional activities.
- Help identify opportunities for new projects and collaborative working.

- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
- Passionate about community development and partnership working.
Experience in project coordination, administration, community engagement, local government, transport, charities or the voluntary sector would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay: £14.03-£18.19 per hour
