An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and dedicated team at Harwood Dental Care.
We are a modern, family-run private dental practice committed to providing high-quality care in a welcoming, comfortable and professional environment. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist who shares our passion for delivering an excellent patient experience.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring that everyone who visits or contacts the practice receives a warm welcome and outstanding service.
The role will include:
- Welcoming patients and assisting with their enquiries
- Managing telephone calls, emails and appointment bookings
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Processing payments and carrying out general administrative duties
- Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the reception area
- Communicating effectively with clinicians and other members of the practice team
- Helping to provide a positive experience throughout each patient’s journey
The ideal candidate will:
- Be reliable, enthusiastic and professional
- Be smart and well-presented
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with patients
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Be comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Remain calm and professional in a busy reception environment
- Be committed to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
Previous dental or healthcare reception experience would be desirable, but it is not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
