Employment Senior Associate / Partner | Chester | £60,000–£80,000+
I’m currently recruiting for a highly regarded law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Solicitor at Senior Associate or Partner level to join its growing team in Chester.
This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to establish and develop the firm's employment law presence across Chester and North Wales, with a high degree of autonomy and genuine scope to shape the role.
The Role
You’ll handle a varied and high-quality employment caseload, including:
- Employment Tribunal claims
- Day-to-day employment and HR advice
- Advocacy and Tribunal representation
- Complex and high-value employment matters
- Building and developing client relationships
- Networking and business development
- Working collaboratively with the wider employment and legal teams
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to do more than simply manage a caseload, with the chance to build a profile, generate work and play a key role in the growth of the department.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years PQE in Employment Law
- Strong technical employment law knowledge
- Proven experience managing your own caseload
- Employment Tribunal and advocacy experience
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- A genuine appetite for business development and networking
- The confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a close-knit team
- Senior Associate or Partner-level ambition
