Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Senior Care Practitioner to join our vibrant care team. Duties
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centered care tailored to each resident’s needs
- Develop, review, and update individual care plans in collaboration with residents and their families, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee daily operations within the care home, including medication management, activity planning, and health monitoring
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering professional development and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to coordinate care and address concerns promptly
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, safeguarding residents’ well-being at all times
- Utilize IT systems for documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate records of care activities
Experience
- Proven experience working in a care home environment with senior or elderly residents
- Supervising or leadership experience within a healthcare or social care setting
- Strong knowledge of senior care practices, including medication administration and care planning
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to use IT systems for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation needs related to the role
