Lead Our Warm, Home-from-Home Nursery
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Are you an inspiring Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career?
We're looking for an exceptional leader to join our friendly, family-focused nursery, caring for up to 29 children in a warm, welcoming environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to thrive.
Proudly rated Good by Ofsted, we have built a strong reputation within our local community for providing high-quality childcare and creating meaningful relationships with our children, families and team. We're now looking for someone who shares our passion and can continue to build on that success.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established nursery where you'll have the freedom to make a genuine impact, inspire your team, and help shape the future of our setting.
About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you'll be the heart of the nursery. You'll lead by example, creating a positive and inspiring environment where children receive the very best start in life, parents feel welcomed and supported, and staff enjoy coming to work each day.
You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding and compliance, while also helping to grow occupancy by delivering an outstanding experience for every family who visits.
Your Responsibilities

- Inspire, coach and develop an experienced and dedicated team.
- Maintain the highest standards of care, learning and child development.
- Ensure full compliance with the EYFS Framework, safeguarding procedures and Ofsted requirements.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Welcome prospective families, conduct engaging nursery tours and confidently showcase everything our nursery has to offer.
- Support occupancy growth by creating an outstanding first impression for every family.
- Oversee staffing, budgets, resources and nursery administration.
- Carry out staff supervisions, appraisals and support ongoing professional development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and nurturing culture where children and staff can flourish.
About You
You'll be someone who is passionate about early years education and understands that great leadership is about inspiring people as much as managing a nursery.
You'll have:
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready for the next step.
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework, safeguarding legislation and Ofsted requirements.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
- The ability to motivate, mentor and develop a successful team.
- A warm, approachable personality with a genuine passion for building relationships with families.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of the importance of occupancy, customer experience and nursery growth.
Why Join Us?
