Overview
We are seeking dedicated full‑time Support Workers to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals who may have a learning disability, mental health diagnosis, or are autistic. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate nature and a genuine desire to support others.
The role we are recruiting for will commence in ST8 6DY.
There will also be opportunities to work within enhanced services and to support individuals with more complex and challenging behaviours. This additional responsibility will be reflected in the hourly rate of pay.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care and medication administration
- Maintain the safety and security of the home throughout waking hours (07:00–22:00)
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Implement behaviour management strategies when necessary
- Support individuals with learning disabilities, including those who may have forensic or complex needs
- Driving licence not essential but would be an advantage
Skills
- Experience in care or a similar role is advantageous
- Proficiency in first aid procedures and ligature rescue, or willingness to learn
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively
- Competence in meal preparation
- A caring attitude towards those in your care and towards the rest of the team

- The contract will include sharing sleep‑in duties with the rest of the team (paid between £45–£75 per night)
