Are you a natural leader with an eye for detail, bags of energy and a passion for making things sparkle?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our fantastic team and support our Executive Housekeeper in keeping the hotel running beautifully.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is ready to step up, develop their leadership skills and make their mark in a busy hospitality environment.
It’s not just about clean rooms — it’s about creating that “wow” moment when a guest walks through the door. From perfectly made beds to spotless public areas, you’ll help make sure every little detail is just right.
What you will be doing…
Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department, helping to keep standards high, the team motivated and everything running smoothly.
Your days will include:
- Supporting and motivating the housekeeping team.
- Helping ensure bedrooms are beautifully presented and guest-ready.
- Carrying out room and public-area inspections and maintaining our high standards.
- Assisting with daily planning, rotas and allocating workloads.
- Supporting the Executive Housekeeper with the smooth running of the department.
- Helping manage linen, cleaning supplies, uniforms and stock.
- Supporting the training, coaching and development of team members.
- Dealing with guest requests and helping resolve any housekeeping-related issues.
- Helping the team respond quickly and effectively during busy periods.
- Working closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments.
- Being hands-on and leading by example when the team needs you most.
- Stepping up and taking responsibility in the Executive Housekeeper’s absence.
