Location: Remote based with travel to head office. The service is a remote first working environment, but you will be required to travel UK wide around 20-50% of the week. Our service currently covers England / Northern Ireland (with Wales coverage expanding). We take a blended teaching approach, which means some training is delivered by our learning management system, some via virtual sessions, and others delivered in person.

Reports to: Registered Manager and Directors
We are seeking a Clinical Training Lead to manage to develop our clinical and care training function. This role combines hands-on training delivery with line management of our Clinical Trainer team, ensuring mandatory and specialist training is delivered to a consistently high standard across the organisation, and that compliance is actively monitored and acted upon.
This role suits an experienced trainer who is ready to step into a leadership position — someone who can both deliver excellent training themselves and support/develop less experienced trainers within the team.
Key Responsibilities
· Line manage the Training team, providing guidance, support, and professional development
· Deliver mandatory clinical and care training, including moving and handling, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other core competencies
· Support and deliver specialist training relevant to complex care needs, using a blended learning approach (e-learning, virtual, and face-to-face delivery)
· Manage and maintain the organisation's training and learning management systems
· Capture and review monthly training data, including mandatory training compliance and competency compliance
· Identify trends and gaps, and develop clear action plans at regional, specific team, and company-wide level
· Report on training compliance and outcomes to senior management on a regular basis
· Ensure training content remains current, evidence-based, and aligned with regulatory requirements (CQC, RQIA, and CIW where applicable)
Essential Criteria
· Proven experience delivering clinical and/or care training, including mandatory training such as moving and handling and BLS
· Experience delivering or supporting specialist training within a complex care setting
· Confident working across blended learning formats — e-learning, virtual, and face-to-face
· Previous line management or supervisory experience, ideally within a training or clinical team
· Experience using training/learning management systems and interpreting compliance data
· Ability to translate data into clear, actionable plans for regional and company-wide improvement
· Strong communication skills, comfortable reporting to senior management
· Recognised Train the Trainer qualifications (e.g. moving and handling, BLS)
· Willingness to travel across regions
· Eligible to work in the UK
· Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS / Access NI check

· Experience managing training delivery across multiple regions or sites
· Strong communication skills
· Strong organisation and co-ordination skills
· Ability to change systems and processes to align with best practice and efficiently cascade improvements and changes
