Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join their established and client-focused Property Department. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers, and leasehold transactions.
- Conduct property transactions from initial instruction through to completion, liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties efficiently.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence accurately and in a timely manner.
- Carry out property searches, investigations, and due diligence to ensure compliance with legal requirements and client instructions.
- Provide clear, practical, and client-focused advice throughout the conveyancing process.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with firm protocols and regulatory obligations.
- Contribute positively to the department’s development and maintain high levels of client care.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a conveyancing fee earner in a law firm or property practice.
- Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency with property software and Microsoft Office applications.
