We are currently recruiting for Bank Support Workers to join our team.
About the Service
Our supported accommodation service in Northampton offers short-term and 24-hour support for people who are experiencing, or at risk of, rough sleeping. We help individuals build independence, access the right support networks, and move on to sustainable housing.
The impact you will have
As part of a dedicated team, you will play a vital role in helping people improve their quality of life and move towards independent living.
Your support may include:
- Exploring housing options and providing tenancy advice
- Supporting access to benefits, employment, education, or training
- Connecting individuals with food banks, mental health services, and substance misuse support
- Developing budgeting and bill-paying skills
- Supporting access to services that enable successful move-on
- Encouraging connections with family, friends, and the local community

Contract details
- Contract: Zero Hours contract
This post would suit people who want to work on an Adhoc basis, want to top up their income, or work alongside their studies.
- Hours: Various shifts available between 08.00am and 20.00pm.
- Salary: £14.06 - £14.64, per hour, dependent on experience depending on experience
- Location: Northampton
- Closing date: Tuesday 18th August
- Introduction calls: Friday 21st August
- Interviews: Friday 28th August
About you
You will have experience supporting people in a supported accommodation setting, particularly those experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, or substance misuse,
Ideally, you will have experience in strength-based support planning.
You will also:
- Treat each person with respect and as an individual
- Be confident recording information accurately
- Have basic IT skills (emails, case notes, etc.)
- Be passionate about building relationships and supporting people to achieve outcomes
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable, but not essential.
