Driver's Mate (Wednesdays)
As a Driver's Mate you will be working every Wednesday from our workshops in Newnham, Herts, helping our driver as part of a two-person delivery team collecting and delivering high quality furniture from private addresses in North London and the local area on alternate weeks for restoration. You'll be collecting and delivering sofas, chairs, sideboards, dining tables etc.
What You’ll Get Up To
- Working closely with our driver, you’ll be helping to collect and deliver customers furniture from private houses in North London or the local area on alternate weeks.
- A variety of tasks including, helping to load and unload furniture including sofas, sideboards and dining tables, map reading, speaking with customers and managing paperwork
- Safety will be your number one priority and it’s important that you’re professional and friendly with customers

- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- To be well organised and keen to learn new skills
- Ability to confidently handle high quality antique furniture
- Must be able to get to Newnham to start at 7:30am

Hours
Starting at 7:30am with a guaranteed minimum of 5 hours work, a normal finishing time is typically between 3.30pm – 5:00pm depending on traffic
