Social Bite is a coffee shop with a difference. . We work to end

We’re looking for someone special who will take pride and show enthusiasm
in successfully running our London Coffee Shop. This is an
exciting opportunity to make a real impact—not just through providing
outstanding customer service to both our paying and free food customers, but
also by embodying our values, promoting our brand, and fostering a culture of
excellence among your team.
You’ll come with experience in managing small
coffee shops or catering operations with a desire to join our collaborative
movement to end homelessness.
In this role, you’ll have autonomy over the day-to-day running of our store,
with the responsibility that comes with it. You’ll lead by example, inspiring
your team to deliver a first-class experience for every customer while
encouraging them to promote and upsell our products. You’ll also be part of a
small network of stores that collaborate and support each other.
We need you to be:
Customer-focused with an eye for detail, ensuring every customer
interaction is exceptional.
Good with numbers, confidently managing stock control, financial
reporting, and compliance checks like food temperatures.
An inspiring leader with creative ideas to drive the store forward.
A people person who loves seeing your team grow, can provide
guidance, and isn’t afraid to have tough conversations when needed.
Passionate and driven, with a clear focus on ensuring your store
thrives and succeeds.
A great communicator who collaborates effectively with both your
team, colleagues, volunteers and other stakeholders.
We’d like you to have experience in
Retail management, either as a manager or assistant manager in a
similar operation.
All aspects of retail food service, including merchandising, upselling,
and driving sales.
Health and safety within a food environment, ensuring compliance
with best practices and regulations.
Food-related retail controls, such as managing stock, costs, staff
scheduling, and banking procedures.
